OKANE我家寶貝2007/10月來到我家，牠是我們從街上撿回的，始終尚無法理解那麼漂亮的狗為什麼會在街上流浪？
尚未結紮，剛撿到時醫生判斷是2歲多，體重27左右，髖骨沒問題，外表正常，長相清秀（好幾個醫生說的）。
2007/11/30：
送去洗完澡回家後，喝了很多水就倒地不起，送醫驗血報告如附件，醫生研判應該是烘烤過久，熱到了有脫水現象，當初沒在意Amylase指數高，一週後就恢復正常。
2008/3/17：
胃口變差了，送醫再驗血Amylase指數又高了、醫生診斷是胰臟發炎，改用配方飼料。
2008/3/31：
Amylase指數降了，心想已沒事了，事實不然。
2008/4/12：
胃口又變差了，再驗血Amylase指數又高了，醫生說是胰臟炎肇因不詳，OKANE可能終其一生都須餵食配方飼料（底脂的胰臟炎專用飼料）。
到這一天我們跟醫生大概已猜到OKANE為什麼被遺棄。
附上四次驗血報告，請問醫師：
1、可否能研判出肇因？
2、是否可以痊癒？
3、終其一生都須餵食配方飼料？
4、除了配方飼料是否可加其他副食品？

不管結果如何，OKANE我們是不會讓牠再流浪，因以她身體狀況是不夠資格去流浪。

There are various reasons a dog may develope pancreatitis. The most common is due to ischemia. This is the reduction of blood flow to the pancrease and is twice as likely to happen in overweight dogs. The standard treatment procedure in our clinic is to administer IV fluids for 3 days and feed a bland diet such as I/D there after. In most of the cases, we may suppliment the diet with viokase(a digested enzymes) to help the digestion and decrease the pancrease's burden. In rare situation, the dog may need to be on I/D or viokase for longterm support. But these are acceptable for longterm use. Please give us more detail on the blood test results before I can give you more advices.

我國外朋友幫我找三種藥皆提供viokase幫助寵物腸胃消化，當地獸醫因為沒看過檢驗報告所以也不敢開處方，僅告知第一種使用者較多，惠請Doctor Wang指點，謝謝。
＃1、【PancreaOne Plus for DOGS and CATS】
PancreaOne Plus for dogs and cats is a pancreatic enzyme concentrate plus fat soluble vitamins that used as a digestive aid in replacement therapy where digesstion of protein, carbonhydrate and fat in inadequate due to exocrine pancreatic insufficiency. PancreaOne Plus is a pancreatic enzyme concentrate of porcine origin fortified with avitamins A, D and E. It is an alternative to Pancrezyme.
Dosage: Dose is administered before each meal and is estimated according to the severity of the condition and the weight of the animal. Average dose/meal: Dogs: 2-3 tablets. Cats: 1/2 - 1 tablet.
Each Tablet Contains a Minimum:
（Lipase）9,000 USP units
（Proteasetd）57,000 USP units
（Amylase）64,000 USP units
（Vitamin A）1,000 IU
（Vitamin D3）100 IU
（Vitamin E）10 IU

＃2、【Pancrezyme by Virbac】
Pancrezyme by Virbac is a supplement used to treat
pancreatic abnormalities in dogs. Tablets and
powder form are available.

＃3、【Viokase V】Powder or Tablets
Viokase V powder is a pancreatic enzyme supplement. Add Viokase V to moistened dog food (canned or dry) and mix thoroughly to bring enzymes in close contact with food. Let stand at room temperature 15-20 minutes before feeding.

All 3 supplements are OK. Thw white blood cells are within normal range so I am not too worry about your dog that much. The one I used to use is viakase since I know this product and use it for a long time. All 3 products should be OK.
